Code of Fans
Zhu Yilong's fans are called Xiao Long Bao （小笼包）, a type of cute dim sum.
Eastern fan culture is a little different from Western fan culture. The much more collectivist culture in China creates self-governing fan groups, and there are generally accepted behaviours amongst fans:
Please act in the interest of Zhu Yilong, that is, do not participate in or endorse acts that will harm him.
Boycott sasaeng behaviour (e.g. stalking, purchasing insider information about non-public schedules)
Boycott sasaeng images and videos. Please do not watch and spread these content, do not follow people who post these content. It will only encourage sasaeng behaviour more.
Focus on whom you love, disregard all else. [专注自家]
If you'd like to support Mr Zhu Yilong and have a bit of time on your hands, you can join a Data group to help with voting. Xiao Long Bao believes in Big Data.
It's great to purchase endorsed products to support Zhu Yilong. When purchasing, please purchase only as you need and as your budget allows. Especially if you're just a student and don't have much money.
Supporting charity is cool. For those who don't know how or where to donate, we have several official Charity groups and official donation pathways for Chinese fans that would like to donate in Mr Zhu’s name, e.g. 免费午餐. These charity groups have received permission from Zhu Yilong studio to donate in the name of Zhu Yilong. (Note from website maintainer: Please be aware of non-official charity groups that ask for donations in Mr Zhu's name, you don't really know where your money will go. We will put up official links later.)
Do not KY! i.e. do not disturb the comment sections of other artists and idols.
Do not start and pick fights with other fan groups. The Xiao Long Bao community rejects such behaviour. However, if something hurts the interest of Zhu Yilong, we are not afraid to act accordingly.
Only trust what is officially published and do not believe in random media sources. See official links section for official sources.
The Xiao Long Bao community rejects Real People Slash (RPS). Publicly spreading RPS material also creates harmful conflicts with other people's fangroups. Please keep your fantasies to yourself!
Boycott unauthorised photobooks & unauthorised reprinting that profit off Zhu Yilong's reputation
Boycott non-official & alleged "insider tickets", highly-priced ticket resales and highly-priced product resales for your own safety and protecting your own money.
For fans in Malaysia, Singapore, Vietnam, Korea etc. some rumours in point 10 have spread over across the language barriers. Including false information about Mr Zhu's sexuality (he has publicly confirmed heterosexuality), relationship status (publicly confirmed single). Please be aware.
Mr Zhu is a very warm, fun and kind person who is professional, hard-working and knows where he wants to go, we as fans are looking forward to what surprises he will bring us in the future, and we welcome all international Xiao Long Bao to join us along this journey~
